The overwhelming and spontaneous response to the 1st Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (Indian Student Parliament) has been very motivating. Nearly 8000 students attended the event. It was like a beginning of a silent evolution among the student leaders. We wish to turn the Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad into a youth movement that will be deeply concerned with issues that are afflicting our nation. It will act not only for creating awareness on these issues, but appeal to them to take active participation in solving these issues.
The 2nd Parliament will be convened on 10th, 11th and 12th January 2012 at the MAEER’s MIT Campus, Pune. Nearly 10000 students from different states are expected to attend the 2nd Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad. The Sansad would strive to further the achievements of the 1st Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad. It seeks to explore other significant issues that seek the attention of the nation and the youth in particular.
Without a doubt, this event will provide a perfect opportunity for large corporate houses and socially committed organizations to lend their support to this cause and make their presence felt. It will also provide a single contact point to interact with delegates who represent nearly 2.0-2.5 million students across India and feel the pulse of the youth throughout the country.
Needless to add, there is also a great opportunity for display of brands and products in front of the select youth gathering.
